Here's some of the progress on a build I'm doing for Dave_damage who happens to be a local //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
It's for (2) 12" Konaki's. Come's in at 4.1 cubic feet including port and subwoofer displacement (which is alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif those dd9512g copies are some big moofas) which is a on the minimum side of volume but every single dimension in that trunk of his is maxed, maybe a bit more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.
It's tuned to 33Hz with just shy of 50 sq. in of port area which is closer to the 12 sq. in per cubic foot which is well within safe for port area. The port is also straight with no turn at the end and also is rounded off, 45 degree'd at the end, and the port opening will be flared with a 3/8ths roundover so there shouldn't be a hint of port noise.
Box dimensions:
13.5" height (maxed)
34" width (maxed)
25" deep lol (max is 29", gotta leave 4" for port clearance from trunk wall, so it's also maxed)
On to the pics. As of now, the box is raw, because I plan on meeting up with him and test fitting the box (I don't wanna build a finished box to find out it doesn't fit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. I'm really unsure as to if this box will fit, because I tried to fit Twista89's box and it was a huge pain, and it was a 2 door and a box not nearly as deep, so we'll see how this goes trying to get this bish through those little back doors and through the back seat opening.
Sexy double front baffle
Rounded port end
Port and double front baffle locked together
Sides and front + port installed
This bish is DEEP!
More pix coming soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
