nice....how did you make the seam look so nice along the port edge? the only way i can do that is by cutting grooves to tuck the carpet in...is that what you did?

Very simple, just take you knife ( With a fresh razor blade) cut iinto the area where your port is and run the blade along the edge of the port. You will use the port as an edge guide and this will give you a nice clean edge.
