my dimensions are 32 wide x 14 high x 18 deep for 2 x pioneer premier subs

I Have received some help for a box to build & he said he has come up with this. Does it sound right please before I build it ?

("working with your dimensions i have come up with the dimensions for the slot port you need to build into your box, as follows

asuming you are working with 3/4 inch thick M.D.F.

the slot port width needs to be 2 inches wide, down the inside of the box and along the back, hard to explain but if you have made a slot port box before you will know what i mean

and finally the length of the port along the back edge should be 8 inches

this will tune your box to exactly 30.7 hz. enjoy)

According to RE.. No... that would be 25hz...

Haha, my box is almost exactly the same size, in a BMW 3 series... just an inch deeper...

I need to figure out how long, and how tall it can be, and still be able to get it in the trunk..

Ok. 32in wide is max between suspension turrets to get in the trunk in these 3 series coupe & for it to clear to fit, it wouldnt accomodate a 15in thats for sure unless the box width was say 26in wide but if you can fit one in thats more, then let me know how cause I couldnt. If its a wedge type box then im sure it world clear ?

Ive been using bass box pro & cant get the tuning frequency of my box low enough. The dimemsions are in the 1st post & im having problems with the vent section of the program. Can some 1 help please

You need to fold the port. BB6 might not account for that if the box isn't deep enough.
Ok. Im new to the bass box thing but am getting better. this is what ive input & what im getting

vb = 2.75 cu ft

total = 3.495 cu ft

fb = 29.51

13.5 high x 32 long x 18in deep

the vent section is where im stuck as it asks for heigh, width, length

Ive put in this 12.5in x 2in x 28in

Can some one tell me if im doing ne thing wrong here please. I know I have to bend the slot port at a 90 angle but dont know how to work out the cuts for this part ?

How about this? 2.6ft^3 @ 34Hz32Wx14Hx18D

And that is assuming two 12s?

You want me to make you a design for that?
Yer thanx. I would be grateful. Can u get the tuning any lower and yes its for 2 x 12in pioneer premiers with a slot port or ports

Well, Ive heard 28-30 is very low & would give of real low beat line but dont know what 30-34 is like, I just like it LOW man lol

I can build that for you or I could give you all the dimensions so you can build it yourself. Just lemme know. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanx out to BUCKYBOY for my design.

So Do you guys think this will rock 2 x 12in pioneer premier subs and hit low
