Yes, that is the wood I requested he use. We couldn't find any Ultra Lite (Trupan) and wanted SPY to do this one.

I don't care what anyone says about the ply. I've used it on my last 7 or so boxes and they all sounded great. Everything from the Realms to the XXX to the SEs.

The ply is bending very nicely, much smoother corners than MDF.

2 more corners done.

One 96" piece of wood was not long enough to do it all so you will notice the joint in the last pic. it will be braced on the inside of the box and properly sealed to prevent any potential air leaks.
