Project: F350 begins...
Whelp, i bought two 8" kicker CompVR's because they were cheap and i wanted to get box building practice/to try out some 8's/to get eye candy for when i sell my explorer. This is my second box build, and my first which i did alone. My first box i had the help of two others and came out awesome (and will be up for sale soon), so i wanted to see how i could fend for myself.
2.4 cubes tuned to 34hz housing two 8" kicker CVR subs, rated for 200RMS.
My shop:
I dont think i did too bad for a skillsaw, clamps, and a piece of wood flooring for my guide //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif I need to get my garage straightened out BAD
And the build pics:
Thats as far as i got today after school. Gonna wait til that all dries up, then will sand so everythings even for the last piece to go on top. I tried to do this one without screws, but with my limited supply of tools, i was forced to use some on the sides that wont be visible (hopefully going to be doing some kind of beauty plate to make it flush with the side of the cargo area in the xplorer)
Not sure if i want to carpet or paint it yet though. I painted the last one and it came out great. I either want to carpet it or try to get that nice mirror-finish look that i see a few people around this forum have done.
