well, next time you can try a little test just to see which is stronger. get 4 small pieces of mdf and glue 2 together w/ good glue, and 2 w/ liquid nails and see which, would take more strength to rip apart.

i'd like to know since i've never tried that yet.

oh with wood glue, you don't need a shitload, just enough to cover the contact surfaces, but a little extra is always good.

Liquid nails and a properly screwed/clamped enclosure is going to hold just fine.

Gotta love the box building elitists around here.

The liquid nails held strongly to the edges and the wood itself tore apart. That is enough for me to back up my claims.

get some higher powered subs or something and you will see liquid nails is no good. ive used it and blown boxes apart fast. guess you just gonna get something louder and you too will see that it sucks

Guess you just gotta learn how to build boxes and you will see that it works perfectly.

I had a wall with 2 Phoenix Gold 15's in it and 1500wrms. Box was around 11 cubes and I never had any issues with it.
