I just got to building some braces for my dual 12 4cuft aero port box .
The way its built and the way I chose to place subs "facing up"Port facing rear trunk I now am bracing differently where my Top to bottom Height brace falls in place between sub cut outs and about 2 inches in front of the 10" long port inlet
Is this minimal to none as far as worrying about noise or air restrictions . I had no where else to put the brace since I ported toward rear and sub's face up toward deck lid because I centered the 8 1/4 port cutout between the subs on the front face plate. The port won't hit the brace but it will be close its a 8 1/4 inner flare the brace strap is 2"strips doubled up x1.5 MDF glued stacked about 2 inches away from the inlet inside box and just a little toward the edge of the port inside .
