well home depot ****ed up some cuts but only by a few cm at most. im letting all the caulk dry, then ill cut my holes, and wrap it. 1.5cuft tuned to 38hz

Looks good. Though, you should make sure that front plate is properly braced. Those few cm can really ruin the box.

I think he exaggerated that as well, looks more like a few mm, which really won't have much effect unless its a high power serious *** box, which its not.

there is no mouting hole for the sub or any carpet

so you are about 63% done
