bostwick ma 100.4

I never thought much of Bostwick as a name, back in the 90's. But things may have changed since then.

The guts don't look "bad" on this one, but they also don't stand out as "robust" either. (@30 amps, what needs to be robust anyway?)

The output devices look like they could make decent use of 30 amps, but it looks like there is an unusually high number of IC chips on the board. Not sure what, if anything, is up with that. (It may just look that way because they are all lined up together like that.)

Gladd see you got some picks up,Its an alright amp,not anything to boast about,..My friend that is no longer here had 2 of these amp,and paid like 99.99 for each one when i was with him. They sound ok, but were like the LA Sound/Pyramid amps,my Alpine Duo-b 3522 had more power, and sounded more powerful,as well as my old Concord 50.2 amps.Distortion level were like 0.08%, and like 85db amp.I thought you had the Zapco version. If you like the amp, run it im not sure if it is 2ohm stable, but for sure 4, as most amps are

No man, i dont..Not sure that you will find them.I was searching the net myself as I was curious.I remember my friend having two of them though, and i was with him when he bought them. They sounded fine to me,I still think that it will out perform todays amps though. MA 100.4=should be like 100x4@14.4v ,and safe to say prob like 125x2@2,and prob 250x2@4ohms IMO,but the tdh should drop and i think it would be like 0.03% at the 4ohms bridged.I dont use an ohms meter/dmm, but there should be a way to calculate the readings to determine the rms,and ohms value /or close from what I have been told.May ask Keep _Hope _Alive,he seems to be real intuitive! I am certain he can tell you how to use that meter quite well, and there are others on here too.It may even be 25x4@100 amp???Thats where it may stand??

Not sure?????????? yet, being a 4ch,i wouldnt take less than 50 for it IMO,but, whatever you think that you can get, start w that, and lower price if it doesnt sale, till you hit rock bottom/Take no less, and hang on to it for a bit/use it,and try again another day??IMO:)

Just be sure to be at 4ohms mono, not 2ohms..I dont think those were 2ohms mono/brigged stable though?????????? Just dont want you to damage your sub..not worth it
