Boston Z6 or Seas Lotus Reference?

I'm having a hell of a time deciding which componet set to go with. It has to be either one and I'm not looking to go active since I'm not knowledgeable with car audio enough to do mix-and-match then tuning it.

Here's my concern with the two speakers:

Boston Z6:

Need at least 200W rms or Bi-amp to bring them to life.

Seas Lotus Reference:

Alot of tweaking and tuning to get them to its potiental?

I'm not going to put an EQ with the system so I won't be doing a lot of fine tuning, the most that I can do is probably sound deaden the doors and tweak the crossovers on the amp. Will an average person be able to tune the Seas Reference to get them to sound good? Again I'm not expert at car audio so I'm just wondering which set will sound better overall? How much power do I need to give to the Seas Reference set?

the z6's are loud, but are super power hungry. the pro's want about 300 per side. and i personally think that the pros sound better and are a better bang for your buck.
x2...ive heard the pro 60's and they sounded better than the z6 imo...but ive heard some good stuff about seas..settin a crossover shouldnt be a big ordeal with deciding

At this point I'm leaning towards the Seas, I just don't want to have to do a lot of tunning and tweaking for the Seas to sound good since I won't have a external EQ for it. This is what I plan to pair the speakers with:

Head unit: Pioneer DEH-P880PRS

Sub: 10inch ID IDQ

Front: Seas Reference (for now?)

Rear: 6.5inch Coxial or Mid bass speakers? (dunno which is more suitable)

AMPS: I don't know how much juice the Seas need but I was thinking putting in a JL 5/500....will this be enough for the Seas (100w rms x2)??

Thanks

i just got the lotus reference aluminum tweets in and they are awesome. getting around 50 watts and it sounds real good. the seas aren't power hungry as opposed to the bostons. 100 x 2 should be fine.

although the reference set is pretty expensive compared to the z6 and especially the pros. depends on your budget. did you get an amp already?

For amps, if possible I'm going for a JL 500/5. But then again I don't know if 100W RMS is enough for the Seas so I'm keeping my options open. If not I might need to get two amps, one for sub and one for speakers.

Everybody who says the pros sound better than Z6's must be smoking some real good shit. Have you actually seen a good install with the Z6's giving them enough power? I'll bet you haven't.

I didn't even know about the Z series had just come out, but I was quite blown away by them and my wallet was really disappointed when it realized the Z's were a must have.

I was going to get the Z6's, but went with the SEAS Refs after hearing a set of Z6's at Tweeter. Granted it wasn't the best listening enviroment, but still... I really wanted to like them, I just didn't.

If it saves you some turmoil and searching, I did a TON of it myself and pretty much came to the conclusion that the SEAS were the right choice for me. They don't need a ton of power but they can take it. The crossovers you get with the set will be more than sufficient, not as many options as the Z6's but if you want options go active. Also the general consensus is that the SEAS mid is the better of the 2 and I am sure tweeter wise as well(you can choose fabric of metal as opposed to only metal for the Z6's).
