Alright I'm looking to buy a set. I've used the Boston Acoustic 6.5 Pros 2-ways, BA 6.5 Pro 3-ways and the BA Z6's in other vehicles... loved them but they are power hungry bastards.

Anyways I'm wonder how these are vs the the BA 6.5 Pros? Do they have more midbass? Do they still stay loud while staying clear?

I plan to power these with an RF T4004, which from what I've read should put out around 120-130x4 @ 3 ohms. I will also be ditching their crossover and going active with my Alpine CDA-9887.

I have a set of Pro60's running active using my 9887. My amp does 75X4. The mids are 3 ohms and the tweets are 8 ohms, so the mids are getting 100 each and the tweeters about 40 each. Midbass if fair but they really came to life when I bridged the amp using the crossovers. There is so much more to adjust when going active I wonder if i'm doing more bad than good sometimes.

i loved my pro's, very clear speakers, havnt tried running active with them though

about to be selling them soon, going to try a set of hertz mlk2's active with a rf 3sixty.2 and t6004 for the front
