I have a 2000 1.8t jetta, one of the first 1.8t's off the line, and I had all kinds of Electircal gremlins, I ended up trading it in on a toyota Tundra the day it was out of waranty. I tried to lemon law it since it was in the shop for probably 3 months out of 3 years, but it wasn't enough, and the problem was always something different, stemming from the part that failed before. However I loved my VW, it was the best in terms of luxury , fit and finish, and speed for the price at the time. Now I have a scion tC, but I think the new R32 is calling my name.......
