boosted rail????

basically, its RF's newest way to make a large amount of power out of a very little package.

they use capacitors on a single rail to "boost" it up to 24v, to double the wattage the amp puts out

EDIT... didnt see that dirt had put a video up... that will explain it very well

 
yeahh... id be curious to see if we could run one from a 16 volt source, doubling it to 32v. and creating big powah.now they needed to make it in a 2.5k monoblock.
i doubt it... the problem with RF these days, is that their products arent as stout as they used to be. they still lead to industry in alot of R&D areas.... but you cant completely smash on an RF amp, like you used to be able to, u kno
