That's not too far at all. Maybe 20-30 minutes depending on where he's at. We have weekly bass meets, on in Mesa on Wednesday nights and one in West Phoenix/Glendale on Sunday nights. If he wants to come out and meet the bass heads around here, have him hit me up and I can give him the details and add him to the AZ SPL Facebook groups.

Biggest show within reasonable distance to WA is Surf City Soundoff down in Lincoln City, OR. It was back in September. Only other events are smaller IASCA shows, from what I've found.

I'm nominating myself for the slowest build of the year award lol.

The steel reinforcement is making progress and should be completely done in the next couple of weeks. It's finally starting to come together and is turning out pretty good. We have the steel for the triple alt bracket too so that will start shortly.

My box guy is moving to a new home so that will be put on hold until about March. The good thing is, all the major stuff is done so the rest shouldn't take too much longer.

Outside and inside of the camper got painted black too

As soon as it starts warming up just a little more, I'm going to start fiberglassing the doors!

Thanks! It definitely is! About 700 lbs unloaded and a little over 1,000 lbs once the subs are mounted.

Haha good idea. Thankfully I don't have much more to spend. Just need wire, rca's, led's, and some miscellaneous stuff.

Got a nice package from ILL Customz this weekend.

Buss Bars

6 4/0 to 1/0 reducers (for alts+ to batts and batts to frame)

6 4 awg to 8 awg (for multichannel amps)

18 1/0 to 1/0 inputs (for sub amps)

The box is loaded up in the truck until the builder gets moved. The truck only squatted about 1" so not too bad... so far haha. He is still able to work on the port side bracing and top, so after that we have the port, body filler, paint and the plexiglass window.

A few more pics of some gear that came in yesterday. The battery rack stand is built but I forgot to get pics. Roof is really close to being done. Might be done this weekend. Just need to add one more bar along the front to double up the width. Decided on no stripper pole.

4/0 for runs from alt to battery bank and frame grounds

4/0 Royal Excelene on left, Kicker 1/0 on right

250 ft 14 awg certified basshead OFC speaker wire for mids and highs

4/0 lugs and 300A fuses

Sound Mekanix 3 spot fuse blocks. These feel like really good quality and are a little cheaper than the SMD ones.

Hopefully will have some more pics this weekend/next week. Going to try to sand down and recoat some of the dash pieces since it has warmed up a little.
