BoogerMan's 12k Crossfire build in a 1998 Toyota T100 SR5

Very nice. I go to closing on my new house in October. My first real garage.[emoji3]
Glwt. Can't wait to see it finished

Thanks! Congrats on the house!

Woah...MDF pillars. There's something I haven't seen before. I would try and paint those, something that catches the eye when peering thru the little window you got going. Lookin' real nice and solid.
Yep they will be painted. Inside of the box will be white. Pillars will be black. Thanks!

wow i really have been busy, i havent seen this. you've really stepped up on this one, awesome man!
Thanks man! It should turn out pretty nice but still has a lot of work left.

Those Roman Empire braces are soooo dope!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
Thanks! They are definitely unique and should help the blow through stand out a bit.

Got some more done. Box is ready to be painted but we need to get a new filter and gun so it probably won't happen until early October.

Tested out some of the primer and sealant on a small piece of mdf. Turned out like glass and should be even better with the new gun.

Got 15 yards of black Morbern vinyl for the outside of the box and interior of the truck. Will add some red or gray accents here and there.

Test fit of the A pillars was a success. A little more sanding with 150 and some minor body work left. Coming along nicely!

You def have to put a few gladiator action figures fighting inside the box lol. I wish i had the patience and work ethic to do my build as beautiful as this. I installed by system this weekend in my truck (6th order) blowthrough on a TFE8.0 and its nowhere near what this is. When your done here can i send you my truck and you make it look like yours? Lol

Haha gladiator vs stripper pole barbie. Who will come out victorious?

Started on the structural support that the side walls will mount to. These side walls will cover the two rear quarter panel windows as well as hold a 4k amp. Used gorilla glue and GRK fasteners. It's definitely solid.

Relocated the stock fuse block so the 3 300a alts can fit.

New location

First 300a installed in the stock location. The bracket to hold the other two would have been done by now but we are having to tweak it a little to fit my needs. I wanted to be able to pull off the long triple alt belt and use a shorter belt (the one currently installed) with just one alt for long drives.

Timbren SES springs installed. Should support the 1500 lbs going in the bed.

New satin black rear bumper installed. Now the bumper and side steps match. Just need to paint the front bumper and fender flares satin black so everything matches and accents the gloss black truck nicely.

I'll be out of town this weekend and my buddy is out of town the following weekend so not much else will happen until October. Stay tuned!

Little bit more done. Weather is finally in the 80s here so time to get going soon. Still a ton to do.

Previously I sprayed all of my lights with VHT Niteshades about 10 years ago. I touched them up a couple months back, but still wasn't too happy with the outcome. I bought all new signal lights and some 20% tint. This was my first time messing with tint film on lights and I'm very happy with the outcome.

Turn signals done with vht niteshades. Very foggy and hazy:

Turn signals done with 20% tint. Much more clear and bright:

My truck has a 3" lift on it so there was about a 1" gap between the Timbren suspension support spring and the leaf springs. I added a 1" spacer above the Timbren spring. This completely filled in the gap. Now the back end of the truck shouldn't sag hardly at all when the box is loaded up.

Gap before:

No gap after:

Cut out a section of the dashboard switch delete pieces. Two led toggle switches fit nicely now. One for the volt meters and one for the white led lights in the cup holders. The cutout pieces will be painted black.

Finished sanding and filling the A pillars. We decided to use some black flock to cover them. Feels like suede. Turned out very nice!

Started wiring up the accessories fuse block and relays. This will go inside the center console. It will power the rgb controller for the 4 rolls of leds, the fans for the amps, remote turn on for the 4k amps and multichannel amps, volt meters, and leds for the cup holders. Even though it won't be visible, I still wanted to make it clean and organized. Zip ties, crimps, and heat shrink

Triple alternator bracket is finally coming along! 1/2" thick so it's pretty solid as is. We need to fill in some gaps, make an L bracket for bracing halfway up on the backside of the bracket, add a second tensioner (we are utilizing the stock tensioner as well) and some idler pulleys.

nice work on the bracket!
Thanks man! I'm happy with it. We might have to do a couple little tweaks here and there but this is pretty much the final product.

Tinted my tail lights. Going to be adding a 3rd brake light below the tailgate in the next couple of days.

Hmm BoogerMan.... Interesting name choice Chad:nerd: By the way, you may want to update your bio. It states you're only putting up a 151.5db //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Lol what's up bud! A 151.5 is about all the car could do. The 152.2 was a fluke deal at one show. I'll update it though once I find out what my truck does //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Installed a led tailgate brake light the other day. Got the wiring all cleaned up and ran. My truck was already wired up with a trailer plug so I just utilized that and also tapped into the reverse light.

More electrical work done today. All three alt positives are wired up. Cut my alt grounds to size. Just need to drill through the frame now.

Broke my hydraulic crimper though so all other wiring has come to a stop. It broke when doing a 4 gauge lug too. Lame! At least I got over 100 uses out of it between myself and friends. A new one is on its way though!

Cleaned up my factory wiring. Put all three wires into a 4/0 to 1/0 reducer.

Decided to keep an agm under the hood so I can drive without having my Lithium hooked up. Had to move it to the other side of the engine since the triple alt bracket and factory fuse panel are where the stock battery used to fit. More to come!
