im gonna put a vinyl stripe on my car, but there is a small dent in part of the place i want to put the stripe... its maybe like 1/4-3/8" deep and no bigger than about 2"x3"... i could just put the stripe over it and it might look ok, but then if something pushes on it or like when im washing my car, it might rip or w/e ya know... so what should i do to fix this? is there an eaiser way than bondo/sanding since id rather not mess with that and have to sand off my paint...

does that make sense? is there like any way to fill the dent just good enough to lay vinyl over?

it's basically like it sounds, someone comes to you or you go to a shop and they use some tools (rods and stuff) to push out the dent from the inside of the panel, usually. i think it takes like 30 minutes and cost ~$100 or so.

i also saw an info-mercial once about a suction cup/glue kit thing that you could pop out your own. which i think would have a better chance of working a larger flatter panel. but might be worth looking into.

you can prolly look em up in the phone book and get some more detailed info or a quote.
