there, that me b4 my first cycle approx. around oct/nov 06. my backround/history is me having weight training classes and lifting for 5 years on and off at 3 different gyms. ive only seriously been lifting nonstop for 1 year. education come primarily from BB's on forums, but also from fitness book, magazines, and websites.
I'm not gonna lie, you look like a large guy. You appear to have a large frame with lots of potentional for strength. But I can not tell you enough, to stop taking these magazine and forums to heart. You need to meet up with a older, experienced powerlifting vet and take his advise to heart. You will be supprised on how much he tells you that is complelty different from what you know right now. Get off the Flex Magazine/Suplement bandwagon and get serious.

um, because BB's know the same things as strength trainers when it comes to muscle. strength trainers just dont worry about cutting as much. i wasnt trying to be politcally correct or whatever
This is a very far cry from the truth. Very far. BB and PL is two totally different worlds. Complelty different in every aspect.

change of tone i see...i guess now that you know im not a scrawny know-nothing kid, you realized that perhaps i do know a think or 2 about lifting. maybe you had your luck with trainers at the gym, but im getting great luck with what im doing online, and im opening myself up to a broad spectrum of views. so i think ill stick with what im doing

well yeah, if your saying "oh, im a BB" or "oh, im a strength trainer". then of course. but im on a car audio forum asking for advice. god knows that 99.9% of the people reading the thread know nothing about lifting anyhow. and even those who did post, potentially have worthless advice. and before you ask, i did post this thread on 3 other BB forums, i just chose to post it here because this is my most frequently visited forum and i know alot of people here. just interested to see how the answers compared to the BB forum.

Yes, change of tone is right. The way you talk is something of the normal Joe-Blow that gets in my way at the gym. And just because you have a large frame and good potentional, doesen't mean you have the knowledge to expand on that. You will see result from going from nothing to having "some muscle". But to get the top levels and acheive beyond human capabilitys, someone with much greater knowledge has got to step in and help you from were you left off. You were born with a large frame, I can see that. That doesen't mean you know anything about lifting. From those pics, it doesen't look like you even lift often, if at all.

i got a huge frame and great potential. and i got the knowledge to get me pretty dman far. no, i dont have the knowledge to go pro, but i dont want to anyways. i just do this for myself, not as a profession. i just dont have the time to invest in learning and practicing anything and everything. im a full time physics student with an obsession with car audio. any spare times goes to lifting, but its not alot.

See that is your guys's problems. All you know is what you see on the internet and in magazines. You just copied and pasted that, and it shows you have zero real world experience. The Teen Nat's include Collegiate compititors as well. You don't know this because you don't know shit about the actual sport of Bodybuilding.
That was from the NPC website, but ok.
