The all new Audiopulse AXIS is designed with high motor force, long excursion and very high power handling to provide loud deep bass in the mobile environment. Many drivers fall short these features and relying on large box volumes to make up for low frequency efficiency, but the AXIS doesn’t need any help, with 40+ pound motor, flat-wound conductor on a triple reinforced heatsink former and all the BL product in the world, it works harder so you don’t have to give up half your car to a large subwoofer box.

Engineered for world class performance, the AXIS delivers vision blurring SPL with unparalleled low distortion bass that will land a grin on your face every time. This driver doesn’t just belt out SPL with compromised xmax as many typically high output drivers do. It does it with a class leading 10” linear suspension system, tall surround and extra long voice coil to dig for that extra octave other drivers just don’t consider. Combine that with particular attention to linearity and distortion prevention methods such as our large Faraday ring to reduce inductance and diminish non-linear flux modulation distortion that many SPL drivers suffer from drivers suffer from, and you’ll wonder why you would ever own any “SPL-only driver” again over this addictive combination.

Not to be overlooked, the voice coil in the AXIS is nothing to ignore. Designed to be substantial, effective and unchallenged, this 3” voice coil with ultra high packed flat wound aluminum wire is as stout as they come. With enough conductor cross section to silence non-linear eddy current distortions within the former itself, this is truly a low distortion LFE high power design. Comprised on an anodized aluminum reinforced heatsink for 3 times the thermal conductively of normal aluminum formers, the excess heat is pulled away from the voice coil and displaced over the surface area of the conductive cone which is then air cooled instantly. Make no mistake, the AXIS doesn’t just take burp power, it takes more long term power than 3” SPL burp driver ever could.

these are not the same woofers. These are made with different soft parts, different coils, different cones/surrounds, and different baskets.

these will do 3" peak to peak without bottoming out. It states on this website they will do 30mm one way excursion which comes out to just shy of 2.5 but i know for a fact they are capable of 3" they utilize a softer suspension than the new tc axis, and have WAY better build quality then the chinese equipment they are producing now. Also i believe there is a slight variation of the 3hp motor compared to the new style tc sounds axis.

60mm is not the same as 2.5" it's more like 2-3/8" just saying GLWS

To the top, anyone who knows anything about these woofers feel free to chime in. I dont want to split hairs over a subwoofers 1/8" of excursion before break in lol.

here is some more info, from the newer style woofers, with more restrictive stiffer style spiders. my point being is that these will do 3" peak to peak without bottoming out. I have dealt with plenty of tc/audiopulse/soundsplinter woofers. And know this for a FACT on actual experience with said driver.
