Bmw z3

Hey guys looking at buying a 1998 Z3. Was looking around on crutchfield just for an idea for what size speakers it comes with. It's saying only kick panels ? 5.25 Is that right.

Anybody own or have owned one that could tell me. just seems weird, I mean I understand It's a small car but only 2 speakers inside.

I have a sub & amp so that parts taken care of If I do buy It.

5.25" in the kick, usually a tweeter in the door and iirc a 3.5" or 4" behind the seats. Also depends on whether you have premium sound.

I'm going tomorrow to take a better look at it. Thought I seen speakers behind the seat. I'll take some pics

i have an 06 miata and all it had was 2 5x7s in the doors and some incredibly useless 2.5 inch tweeters... i put in 6x9s in the doors and a pair of 5x7s behind the seats and a single 10" in the trunk (for now) i did look at a z4 when considering cars and i believe it also only had 2 door speakers and some useless tweeters

blanket statements about audio systems in BMWs are useless as the Z4 came with different audio packages that, depending on what package they had, yielded different speaker sizes, configurations, and # of speakers.

its an '87. its a quick little sucker, just like driving a go cart. plus i only paid $150 for it, no joke.

Z3 is a douchebuggy

I can't complain. It's in great shape with low miles and a clean carfax. It has the HK factory system in it. Sub and 4 speakers. Nothing special. But I have bunch of good stuff waiting to go in there. Be selling the rest of my stuff soon. Don't need at all now.
