BMW E46 Coupe Speaker + Amp install fiasco, pls help!

Hi Guys... having a hard time with my first ever amp/speaker installation.

Background: Trying to replace front speakers and add an amp. Front speakers are Rainbow SLC265's and amp is a 2 channel Phoenix Gold Mac200.

Setup.

OEM HU ( front channels ) -> LOC4 -> AMP ( 2 Front channels ) -> Speakers

Hookup:

Pin #30 ( Front Left - ) -> LOC4 -> AMP

Pin #38 ( Front Left + ) -> LOC4 -> AMP

Pin #09 ( Front Right + ) -> LOC4 -> AMP

Pin #17 ( Front Right - ) -> LOC4 -> AMP

Issue: I can't get sound when the amp is properly hooked up to the LOC4. When I actually unground the RCA ( Just let the center pin contact ) I get audio.
