Hey y'all i have been trying to find this out all day been on tons of forums and still no clear answer the issue i am having is i just bought a 02 330xi with business CD player and harmand kardon sound speakers i am looking to up grade my deck and i can't seem to find out which wire harness i have to use as i dont want to buy the wrong one and it be useless so if someone could give me a hand with that would be very greatful i am doing a double din in it also so not sure if that will make a difference and for the double din i could use some advise as well as i have seen the double dins that have GPS iPod est and they make it look factory so i am wondering if i should go with one of those being it will keep my steering wheel controls and its plug and play or should i go with like a Kenwood dnx and just buy the double din bezel steering wheel control from axxess then wiring harness and antenna please give me some leads would be awesome thanks

does your factory radio have the dsp to the side of the radio? If its the factory system that uses fiber optics then its basically a full system gutt. Double din radios do not fit into that vehicle. your best bet is a single din flip out. That being said if its not the fiber optic system then here is the harness.

also most aftermarket decks have the ability to work in conjunction with a steering wheel interface module. So you could keep the factory steerign wheel controls no problem.

Yeah you can put double dins in the e46 sorry title was wrong all you have to do is get a ash tray and climate control holder to fit the climate control down by ash trey it comes out of e46's with nav I have done my research on that part and no it's not the dsp the 3 series didn't come with that as I found out also the site you gave me still is giving me 2 different harnesses to choose from also that's what I am having issues with I can find BMW e46 330 harnesses just have found 4 different ones and no for sure answer which one it is but thanks anyways man

Just pop the radio out real quick and see what plug it takes.
