BMW box build. Will be needing some help

sup guys. finally sold my idmax so im starting me new trunk build today. want the box to be about 2.8 cuft for a 12" idmax ported straight through the skipass into the cabin. front will be plexi with a beauty board blah blah

the sub will be facing sideways towards the driver side of the car..

problem im having is the port would be right in front of the sub... would that be okay? their will be a lot of airspace on the other side of the box and i dont know if that will become a problem with the air getting out.

similar to this setup but only 1 12" idmax.

i understand this may not work. but would putting the sub in the front of the box and the port in the back be effecient?

i would put the sub on the back like the port but the seats are slanted and the box will be pushed against it.

i dont what that shiet to muffle
