I have a few different box designs cooked up for my 3 L7 10s, and will be using 3 4 inch flarred aero ports. Will i gain more spl from facing the ports towards the rear of the trunk or to the side? It will be in a 01 Grand Am. I know its install oriented, but does anyone have experience with Grand Ams and aero ports? thanks

I think people have had SPL success facing the subs up or back and then having external aeros facing to a side.

I think generally, you should put the ports on the same face as the subs.

I agree... when I first stumbled into this addiction called car audio everyone said to ALWAYS put port on face with sub.... but these days people have all sorts of ideas...

My opinion, same face (especially for SQ I would think)... different face to gain in output (sometimes).
