BMW 330ci ipod connection ???

Hey guys I recently purchased a BMW 330ci and well I have no way to connect my ipod and I really don't want to buy a new head unit because its going to look *** ugly without the stock bmw one, unless they sell decks that take up the complete area of the regular bmw one. I know I can buy a dash kit but it still looks ugly.

I really dont want to take 5 to 10 minutes of time taking a pic of the inside of my car so i just provided you with one from google images, mine looks the same inside.

I know they sell ipod integration kits but those get up to $160, was just wondering if their was any alternatives ?

you can get a wireless FM transmiter that plugs into the 12v cigarette plug....and set your radio to a certain station...and manually control the IPOD...if you want cheap and simple

You could go with an OEM processor that allows iPod integration:

Alpine VPA-B222 (vpab222) - Factory System Expansion Controllers - Sonic Electronix

Auxillary in could be used here for iPod. You just wouldnt have any control from the headunit.

You get what you pay for just like with component speakers.

What year is your car? BMW offers a iPod integration unit built specifically for BMW's.

sorry for the double post ^^^^^ Well for that money i can get 2 sets of those eclipse components for $120 that you say are good. its a 2001. Also you think this deck will still be good for an sq setup? really dont want to go with an aftermarket deck

just a side note, that hu doesnt know what sq means, the only way you are going to get good sq keeping the factory hu is using a processor to run your amps.
