BMW 325ic 88'

**** my buddy would know for sure, but he's gone for a while so that doesn't help lol. It may possibly have a locking nut in the back or something. Sit back and check it all out. Could be something simple that you just overlooked.

The main problem is the car is so friggen small. In most cases there are one or two screws underneath some sort of lip on the stereo. I found 2 and took them out which was hard but didnt do anything. I honestly think they have no purpose. Has anyone ever heard of having to take off the entire dashboard to get to the deck? If so please speak up because if i have to do that i might as well wire the subs while im at it.

bump* srry for bumping my own thread but i need an answer to this problem. I tried asking circuit city about their "free install" when you buy a new deck but its a load of crap. It's "free" but you have to pay 30 bucks for "parts" which is also crap. Anyways. My question was. Has anyone ever heard of having to take of their entire dashboard to put in a new deck? if so please post.
