Bluetooth troubles

I just installed an Alpine IDA-X001 head unit and the Alpine KCE-300BT bluetooth phone interface. My phone is a Verizon xv6700 . I am having troubles getting the phone to work with the unit. I can make calls from the phone, hands free through the radio and I can recieve calls through the radio, however thats it. List do no come through, caller id does not come through. Does anyone know of a program that I can install on the phone (its actually a pocket pc) ?
