Bluetooth Question

I have a Garmin c550 and am wanting to make it to where the bluetooth will operate out out of my truck speakers. I have found an adapter for like $100, but am unsure if it can be used as all my speakers are ran through my amplifier and the adapter uses RCA's to carry the audio.

It is suppose to mute the radio and allow me to take calls, but seeing as how the amplifier is powering the speakers, can this mute the amplifier.

However it would work, idk, but if you can help me out, please do.

buy a bluetooth eanabled deck

eg = dehp7850bt or dehp9850bt (pioneer)

so the deck has to be BT compatable?

I have a Pio. 4900ib.

think i have to have something else though to make it work as well though

suggestion: grab hemi=22s' 980BT for 300. figure out what youd give me that HU for, like trade..

this is easy!!!!

the c550 has a AUDIO OUTPUT - 3.5mm jack on it....maybe 2.5mm

does your deck have a AUDIO input?

if not get a GOOD FM transmiter like the MONSTER one...
