blowthrough/6 12's

its a bandpass enclosure not forth order forth order would be a ported box ported in to another chamber ported. i thinking the is gonna be dumb loud as well as sound good i like bandpass enclosures just dont have the know how
Its a 4th order sealed bandpass, and a nice one.

That's pretty ridiculous. It was like that when I lived in Rock Springs Wyoming when I was younger. It's slightly better.
Hell, we have one, maybe two, comps a year. And the larger one, "Car Wars", isn't sanctioned or anything and they use an AC meter.
Dude, that is the exact fawking way it is here. All the comps im willing to drive to aren't sanctioned. One is once a year and is with a TL and there are maybe 2 more up in Colorado Springs that are just through together car shows by Drive In Autosound and they run around with an AC metering everybody.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Talk about lame.. But thats about all the action I see.

Im going to try and make my rounds to the Denver area and towards New Mexico. Also Montrose for a huge comp they have once a year in Colorado Bass Wars

Well... Been super busy for me lately, however today was so nice I took the day off to work on the box and got about 3 coats of self etching primer along with 1 coat of filler primer below that. I had some left over PPG etching primer so I said what the hell and used it. Also the box will be painted with PPG satin off white.Won't have a huge robust luster but will be clean and go with the truck color scheme real good.

Also the un-primed spot in the back is for the mirror.

Lookin Way Good!!
I am the third partner in crime with xseveredveganx and dak446 that live in Wyoming.... All us Rocky Mountain Boys need to get together sometime!!!

WTF??? Haha j/k. But your build looks great so far. If I end up doing a blowthrough this summer expect a bunch of questions from me.

keep an eye out for the shows in denver and come on down
You gotta come to the Cinco De Mayo show before I go to any of them shows.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif It's only fair.

Also Im debating on stopping where Im at right now and just walling the truck completely.

I think my calculations may be way off, but I love to speculate.

It "looks" like about 7 cubes (6ish net) of sealed air space and a 6.6 cube

vented chamber. The port portion appears to be about 12x13 and 12" deep.

That would put the tuning of the chamber at about 54-55 hz. If so it would

peak around 53-58hz.

Its supposed to peak around 60hz but flat response from 15hz to 53hz.

I think its closer to 10cubes by the way.

Outer dimensions are 49" wide by 65" deep and 15.5" tall.

I didn't design the box tho so I dont know to much info.

Builds off for a while, got into a wreck today and wasn't even driving my truck. Long story short, a car flew across the highway doing aprx 50mph and slammed into me parked in a parking spot. Pushed my truck 11ft and up a 2ft curb into Taco Bell front door. Broke my leg and shattered my collar bone.

I'll get the good pics from the P.D. tomorrow.

That sucks man, go drug yourself up man

Sorry to hear that man. Hope you get everything straightened out.

Oh yeah, expect to be really sore tomorrow. I broke my left collarbone a few years back, took almost two weeks to start fusing back together. I had to wear a butterfly brace that pulled back and kept my shoulders straight.
