I just installed 2 12" l7 in my car with a 1200.1 kicker amp 3 days ago and one of them has already blown on me. Why has this happened i barely use the subs since i am still waiting for my license. They are the silver model. What should I do so that this doesnt happen again. I got them installed at the best shop around town.

What you should do is take it back to the shop, have them replace it. And set your gains yourself, if they did it before.

The shop did everything the box is ported and no i didin't play it loud at all... it was on 9 when it just blew.

Did you buy them at the shop? If not, what did the shop do? If they installed and adjusted your amp, Id go to them, and tell them what they did. They might not do anything about it, but its worth a shot, so you dont have to pay shipping back to kicker. Not sure if they have a warranty, send a PM to polecat.

exactly. I would have the shop look at them, since they installed and set everything.
