Well i took out my revs out to put in the slc's and i cant figure out why the woofer n one if them isnt working. I dont get an ohm reading on it but i could just be measureing wrong. Why would only one woofer blow
Which pair of drivers is one not working. The slcs or the REVs? That is unclear.
Where you hook up the speaker wire is where you measure and you should get ~4 ohms.
If not:
Resistence is lower then 3 ohms (Actual resistence is going to be slightly off, so we say 3 to be safe):
- Could be a short. That could be in the voice coil of the woofer, or somewhere else.
----
Resistence is "nothing". if you get "OL"(overload) or "E"(error) you might have an open circuit. this means there is no path connection between the terminals. Maybe tinsel lead is disconnected. Maybe voice coil leads from tinsel leads got cut.
