Blown Sub... Help me Pick a New One

So I just blew my Bazooka TVB-141, which really wasnt that bad considering.

I run a 5 channel Orion Amp, Cobalt Cs 500.5, which is 300w, With the sub running at 200w 4 ohms

My fronts are 100w orions as with my rears, which arent running at full power obviously.

Im looking for a sub or a pair of subs that will be powered nicely for my setup. Before my bazooka, i had a pair of Precision Power 12's which were awesome, but I would like to keep it a little cheaper this time,

Any sub suggestions are greatly appreciated. Or should I jsut keep the box from my bazooka and replace the sub? Your opions please

i heard bazooka amps really sucked though, went into protect a lot and over heated easily. maybe thats just cuz the reviewers at cc and cd are retards

He doesn't have near enough amplification for a pair of 12" Rs.

The bazooka EL series amps had problems with overheating but if you stick one of those $8 PC processor fans inside it and solder it to the remote on power lead, they'll run great forever. Ive bought 3 of them and done this mod.

the el1500's do last pretty good.

you shoudl post if you want more spl or more SQ oriented sub

Thanks for validating that MrSector, most people see "bazooka" and weather they've ever owned one or not they down em. Nice to see other people have picked up on these el-cheapo bargin buys

as for the thread here,

why dont ya just get something thats an all around performer, like a 8" Kicker, or older 04 L7, Memphis PR ..... They're all cheap and great beaters that you can mount over the triangle Bazookoa sub hole on your box
