Blown Earthquake amp?

I think earthquake just does flat rate repair in the 100-200 dollar range for these. These can be tricky to fix because one of the IC's inside the amp likes to fail on power up about 50 percent of the time even when nothing else is wrong. It likes to take your newly replaced outputs with it as well sometimes.

Hmm. I was under the impression that Earthquake is out of business. I contacted them about two years ago, looking for 15" Magma parts, and the guy said they were completely out of parts for everything and hadn't manufactured a single piece of equipment for quite a while.

I was bummed out a little. I liked Earthquake subs back in the day...
