kicker 1000.1 amp speaker output fried?

My speaker output is fried. I took apart the amp and where the right speaker output connects 2 the board is burned and it smells burnt. my questions are 1. how much would this be to fix and would it be worth it? and 2. why did this happen? and 3. this is the sub i have

The new kicker stuff isn't as good like he said but it could be a part failure, manufacturer defect, user error, etc.. Hard to say sometimes amps take a dump on you whether its your fault or the amp lol.
