i just received a used lanzar opti1400d. i removed the negative on my battery and made sure i disconnected the inline fuse to the amp. after hooking everything up correctly, reatatching the negative to the battery, and reconnecting the inline fuse, the amp is not working. i AM getting power to the amp(using a DMM) from the battery, as well as the remote turn on. my rcas are correctly installed. *NOTE 10 minutes before attempting to hook this up my other amp worked perfectly fine.

my question is, how do i go about finding out if there is current flowing through the amp? im assuming i stick the DMM to the backside of the amp fuses correct?

you should be able to stick the dmm on the speaker terminals to see if you are getting any flow to the output that goes to the speakers,.have you switched the button to lpf if bridged/running mono,or hpf/flat for running stereo mode?
