Blown Amp?

I have a Fosgate 550s and when I was working on the Setup I accidently put it down a little too rough.... dropped it about a inch distance.... and all of a sudden the light goes off? Blown? is it possible for an amp to blow like this?

Have you checked the fuse? What about the wires leading into the amp?

I doubt very seriously a Jar of this magnatude could affect that amp since they are made to go into a car anyway which can be one of the most vibration persistant places. So if something did come loose in the amp from that then the amp wasnt created very well in the factory I would think.

turns out the fuse i replaced was a POS so i got a new one all gravy thx though....

Ok, I knew it couldnt have been something in the amp. Especially a Rockford amp. Theyre made like a brick from what ive seen.
