with it sealed off behind the seats and ported through the deck it got very loud and i tuned it to 26 so it killed the lows. i just figured if i had to take it all out anyhow could i improve

Maybe you should figure out what blew your sub in the first place....

But most likely the w7 will be louder, yes the w6 has cone area but they are not really a loud sub...
