blowing amp fuses

i have four 30 amp fuses on my amp that keep blowing. i can listen to the radio at normal range but when i go to turn up the volume they keep blowing. i have 4 gauge wire run to my 4000 watt amp. i have no caps but i have a f150 and think the battery will be good enough for the situation. any suggestions?

what's the impedance you have your speakers wired to...

i the speakers wired to 1 ohm. i listen at normal volume and when i turn it up the fuses blow, so i replace them and then the amp turns one in protection mode? i have no idea why it wouold do this. like a hour later i can turn it back on and everything works fine again. im completly stumped.

Sounds like the amp is overheating/drawing too much power, which in turn pops the fuses. Check your ground to the amp, and make it bigger if possible, also, just to be sure.... recheck the wiring to the subs to verify the ohm load. And then check the sub, once again to verify that it can handle 1 ohm. If you do all of this and you still have problems, I would try to get some service from the manufacturer on it... warranty?

well see the funny thing is after it blows the fuses and i replace them after a small amount of time every thing works fine again. so i drive up to the store and turn the car off everything is working fine. when i come back the amp goes directlt in to protection mode "red light" and the subs will pop?
