What does the dust cap do on the sub? Has anyone else had this problem with the SE's??

yea ca is incredibly strong, comes in different thicknesses ...which also determines their drying time. I usually go for the 45 second set i believe. Not cheap stuff though

under the dust cap is the former, keeps dust out and other foreign objects from getting in the subs mechanical area.
