loudest of the bunch?

which of the following is the loudest in the appropriate box? all are 15''

1. W7

2. Brahma

3. L7

4. XXX

5. D2

6. H2

I think that this is my final decision before I buy my sub next year. if something else is louder than that then tell me. thanks!

L7 w/ appropriate power and box would be loudest.

i remember that a while ago v8s10 did a comparo of a bunch of subs in different cars/boxes/power and the L7 was a 12 while the rest were 15"s, the L7 was louder than the XXX if i can remember right. i'll search for the link.

look at that thread, and don't bring it back from the dead please. I know that the XXX has gone through some changes from that test, but i don't think it would be that significant.

was a very fair and complete test, can't really dispute the results. and remember the L7 was a 12", not a 15".

In a daily application, the XXX will have a ton more linear output than the L7...

All the choices are great ones, though. The only one I have not used there is the D2...so I cannot comment on that one, but do your best to listen to any of them if you have the chance...

if i had a 1g+ per sub budget i would go with the 9917 for pure SPL. but powering a beast like that would be expensive too.. :/

IA Death Penitly would be another sub that would run in the loudest sub classification. Louder then the 9500"s and I'm sure louder them most the others on that list
