Blew my DC Level 4..

I'm not going to lie... I beat the crap out of this thing. Never clipped though! Had an overexcursion failure. Got loud for the most part. Had it for almost a year.

I don't want anything to do with DC anymore... Not bad mouthing them. I just never had a good feeling with the sub. I want some suggestions. I'm geared for lows and sql. (I have a 3.8cuft @ 28hz)

1500rms under 500 and perf a 15in! I will not buy a used woofer FYI.

Hmmm.. Well the woofer is stuck in the outward position. (Heard a crackle then it stopped) it wasn't even hot when it did it. Didn't even stink. Now its all jammed up.

Still salvageable?

Yeah, that would all come off & it would get new spiders, coil, cone & surround.

if you could run a multi sub set up get 2 obsidian 12s. they will work in a 4cuft box net...or 2 sa12s...

if you want a single sub set up zv2 15

Work from the motor and basket, build a new one. Like said before, splaudio does awesome work. Maybe even think about psi?

But for a new woofer, go with the sundown z 15.

Loved the lows of my btl.. had it tuned at 29-30hz and it killed that ****.. still did 143db off of 2400watts
