I got a first gen. S-10 Blazer donated to me, so I can use that for a project dedicated to my uncle. I am going to start by buying my wiring first off. I was wondering how many feet per run you used to go from front to back. I'll be running multiple runs of 1/0, adding 1 to 4 batteries (whatever my budget can afford) in the back, and running 4000WRMS, to 8 8" woofers. Looking for some install ideas, like doors, boxes, walls, ways to run wiring, where to run wiring. Anything will help. I have a full year to complete this build, so it'll most likely go pretty slow.

well, a good place to start is with a ford. but i would run under the vehicle or cut a nice sized hole in the firewall to accomodte your wire. prolly need about 20 feet per run front to back MAX!.

and 8 8's in a 8th order dual chamber tri tuned bandpass would be SICK! @ 10 hz of course

Fords are shit, so why would I start there? I got the Blazer for free anyway. Wiring is going to be ran under, and up into the rear.

thats why, there are more fords on the road still then chevrolets. thats why its been the best selling truck for like the last 100 years ( not entirely but close enough ). the F-150 is why chevrolet stopped making camaros cause chevy couldnt afford to make them anymore. well the last one isnt 100% accurate but its part of the resaon. why would i wanna spend $52,000 on a southern comfort silverado when i can buy a F-150 for half the price and make it just as nice or nicer for $40K.

Fords are far from shit. my 4.6 stock keeps up with a 5.3 everyday. but back to the audio.

i would do like 4 runs of positive and negative. big three, in 1/0 and definately the dual chamber tri tuned enclosure at 10 hertz lol. or a tapered horn or transmission line, but that would be pretty **** huge for 8 8's.

I did plan on doing 4 runs each for negative and positive. I'm fairly sure it has an upgraded alternator on it already, but not positive. I'm getting new tires for it for free, so that's cool. The whole back half is going to be audio equipment, so I may go way out, and see if my mom wants to help out, and buy some 8's, so I can do a wall of 8's. Just to be different.
