Obama was elected simply because he addressed the economy more than McCain and McCain's campaign advisers made some serious mistakes.

Please note how Obama's "stimulus" bill is getting torn apart everywhere. It passed the House but it won't pass the senate as it is. All the social program spending is going to be severely reduced.

Anyways, it seems Keynesian economics is being propped by the democratic party.

Please understand how biased you posters are here, Toasted1, the OP and a few inbetween. Whiteys done? Isn't integration what we were all striving for anyway? There are FAR FAR more white politicians than there are black. So those statements are extremely ignorant.

I like this guy Steele. I saw him on an interview on Hannity last night and he seems like he'd do some good things for the party. As far as the dying party, that could have been said for the 1980s when Regan was elected. Remember Regan democrats? He gained an unprecedented support from the dems that no other republican has done before or after.

There have been and are black men and women congressmen and black senate members, black governors and so forth.....so to say that race is an issue with any of this racist crap is hog wash. You do not VOTE based on skin color you vote for the person. For every Jesse Jackson running there be other white guys not make it either. Frankly I think it is funny when the rest of the world tries saying we are a racist country when infact their country is easily proven to be MUCH more racist than ours. Where are all the black prime minesters in Europe? Where are the white leaders in Nigeria? Just like the liberal media character studies over the 2 men who killed their families because of the economy.....not one time do they even consider those men as wack jobs...it is alllll about the economy. What is sad is there are enough people without common sense who place sole blame on the economy without thinking "Hmmm, would a normal guy even consider killing his wife and children?" Sole answer to that should be NO!
