How come only on this forum, people make mention of high post counts? On other forums I visit, people never seem to care about users with 30k +.

If i went to any board and saw someone with almost 40k post in 5 years, I would automatically assume they failed at life. That means not only have you frequented these boards for 5 years, you obviously have posted a shit ton on them. Thats an automatic fail at life.
