months pay at mcdonalds workin a day a week? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifWell I will say as well, for the first time that I have seen you promoting your boxes on here, that one might be worth the price. I just for some reason you charging someone a months pay for that though. Looks good though.
rabbet is someting i may try. Nails would still be required with a rabbet to hold while assembly. Why not just do a rabbet joint instead of the tounge and groove, it appears to me you've gone past the point of dimishing returns with your box construction there. Plus a rabbet is a hell of alot easier to do rather than tounge and groove jointing.
If you have enough clamps you won't need nails during assembly, which considering your business I imagine there are a ton of clamps laying around. Yes, tounge and groove is more time consuming, it always will be even if you have your saws setup for it. The reason I'm saying use a rabbet joint is that you only have to make one pass with a dado head in order to make the joint.rabbet is someting i may try. Nails would still be required with a rabbet to hold while assembly.
At this point, tongue and groove is time consuming, but it will go faster as time goes on, and as I setup my other saw specifically for it - right now I Just dont have the space.
I have more confidence in the tongue/grove.. as the wood pretty much holds itself together, giving 0 chance the joint will work itself apart over time.
lolbahdo a dovetail and dont use any clamps
