OK I have a 96 S-10 Ext Cab. Right now no electrical mods have been done, but I plan on runnin 1 Optima yellowtop and doing the Big 3. I can run 2 batteries if necessary. Now what I want to know is, whats the biggest setup I can run with this with no problems, daily? Like, biggest amp, and ohm load etc. Just throw me some setup options please! TIA

I was squeezing about 1200w out of mine for daily driving ( 95 s-10 extended cab) With the oem alt ( I think it's like a 110 amp ) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I dont feel like looking your truck up, but it REALLY depends on the stock ALT and how much it puts out.

I ran a 1500-2000rms setup on my stock 00' durango, but with battery upgrades and big 3.

thread jack..

i have the big 3 and one new red top battery.. think my Mitsu' Galant 01 runs a 80-90amp alt.

I'm gonna run like 1000W is that cool?

I'm running about the same on my stock alt (85amp) and different bat. No problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

don't run dual batteries without an upgraded alt. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif i still don't understand everybodies fascination with expensive batteries

what if my car comes with dual batteries stock could i replace both to like yellow tops
We basically have the same motor (mine has an intercooler and the newer style turbo). I replaced both of my Ford batteries w/ dual Optima red tops. I just recently replaced my stock alternator w/ a 200 amp unit and have had not problems so far. I'm in no way using my new alternator to it's fullest extent. I'm maybe pushing 400 watts but I do have lights, inverter and etc..
