My friend gave me his subs/box for free and there is actually a loose side on the sealed box that flexes.

Is there anything bad about removing the subwoofer (undrilling) and then using wood glue/silicon for the loose side and then redrilling the subwoofer back into the box?

Wouldnt there be little air pockets coming out? Basically a small port for my sealed box? Or would I have to redrill into the holes that were originally there?

...or would I have to construct a new enclosure?

Sorry I'm a little new to this.

What do you mean little air pockets coming out? And small port? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
