Biggest box in a CRX?

What is the biggest box you can fit in the back or a CRX, with a few batteries and amps and still be comfortable?

I'll be buying one next year and i'm deciding on what classes to run based on how much room I have.

run super street 5+ with me. there is a rex down here with 6 10s just over 12 cube but not a wall

I had about a 4 cube box in mine with two 12's and can say that with batteries it would have been a tight squeeze... but it was loud as fvck!!!!

You can fit 3 BIG batts in the spare tire welll, and sub box over that...plenty of room for pretty much anything with 12s in it

Make sure you get the CRX without the backseat or you wont be in a stock class with it out

well if your worried about space dont get a rex! thats why I'm getting rid of mine. 155 on the tl isnt worth it unless you are competing. but I always took a pop-up,2 chairs ,big charger, my weight cans for the pop-up,laptop, meter,cooler,power cords. thats not including amps, box ,changer,areo ports mounted external etc etc shoot it's a tight fit and the car would'net play music that loud because the amps were at such a low load.

but if you want to compete in street a,b,c a crx is a great start. dont expect to get alot of help with them either. most of the stuff that wroked for other people wont work for you in most case's. ive had 2 crx's both were 89 si's and a 154.7 with 4 messed up konaki 12's was the best i did. it was loud as hell but played music like sheeeet. anyways goodluck with your purchase and future build pm me a link to the build thread and dont be scared to put sound dampening in that car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

no back seat just a platform from right behind the seat to just almost against the back built the box around the wheel wells to get the extra cu/ft. hes this real short Cuban guy named Antonio Nunez and rides the steering wheel. he wanted it so he made it happen

i have no idea...but it looks ok. he looks like a old lady ridin the steering wheel when hes in it

my deigo *** is barly 5'6" thats what helped me with this box i got. i dont think ud have a prob with 8 to 9 cu/ft. just wont be lookin out the back window

in gainsville this year i was running 4 ia dp 12" in 6 cubs w/ 6" aeros for tuning.(tuned at 42. that was the lowest i could get the tuning in that volume) w/ 2 ia 40.1s. playing music it would beat your brains in. that was keeping the box below the window line for street class. you can build the box taller w/ more volume & get more musical.
