Bigger wire = cooler running amps?

Guys I was wondering if your amps are trying to pull voltage and the gauage wire is " choking" it from getting what it needs, will this cause the amps to run hotter? Just a wild idea.

Example would be 2 amps running off a 4 gauge power distrio'd to 2 8 guage wires to the amps power and ground.

Thanks

I would run 2 seperate 4 gauge wires depending on the sizes of the amps. 4 gauge can only hold i think 100 amps of current, so unless you have some really weak amps i would run a new power wire to one of them. I dont think low voltage neccesarily makes them hot, but it could damage it in the long run. Plus, higher voltage = louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
