Big Three??

I've been debating with myself on if I should do the Big 3 upgrade when I install my new amp. system consists of Hu Kenwood KDX 4393 front components Boston Acoustics SR-65 rear Memphis MC15 coaxials. sub Boston Acoustic G3 10 SVC The amp I'm still undecided I'll probably buy DLS or US amps 4channel around 400 to 600 rms and bridge the rear for the sub. My alternator is 80 amps and I have an Optima red top battery. Should I do the Big three upgrade????and what ga. wire?

It can never hurt you to do the upgrade. 4g would be fine, but I'd use 1/0 if you can afford it.

What benefit will using 1/0 provide over 4 if he has a 80 amp alt?

I believe in future proofing. Do it once. As stated...4g will be fine, but I would do 1/0 if I had the money.
