So... That leaves me at,.. How do I get the pos. to the alt? Also can I run 4g? 1/0 would cost a shit load of money, that I don't have...

Where on the alt. do I connect the wire?

There is probably a little cap covering an electrical connection (usually a wire with a crimped on ring terminal bolted on to a bolt). Sometimes the cap is red. My advise is to get under your car with either a pair of jackstands or take advantage of a friend's shop. That's what I had to do to get mine.

Well its probably different for your car, but on mine you can see that there is a small plastic cap that covers the OEM wire. Its right where my thumb is in this pic...

It had a nut that i had to take off, and then i just put my 1/0 on the same spot, put the nut on and i was done.
